Insurance for Children with a Critical Illness offers you as a parent security, providing a compensation if your child is diagnosed with one of the covered critical illnesses or if the child undergoes a Euro Accident approved treatment.

The compensation may be used for whatever your family chooses, e.g. a parent working less hours for a period of time, travelling or alternative treatment, and can be a financial safety making a difficult time more easy.

What does it cover?

The insurance is paid out when a child under the age of 21 is diagnosed with one of the covered critical illnesses or treatments as defined in our insurance terms.

The insurance covers your biological, adopted and/or stepchild. However, it is required you share a common registered address with your stepchild at the time of your potential death.

Examples of coverage:

  • Cancer and some benign tumors
  • Histiocytoses and fibromatoses
  • Stroke
  • Operation-required heart diseases
  • Chronic kidney failure
  • Organ transplant
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Bigger burns, frostbites and skin corrosion
  • Meningitis
  • Type 1 diabetes

We refer to our insurance terms for the full list of covered illnesses and treatments.

No premium is paid for the insurance if you are entitled to a payout for Loss of Earning Capacity from Euro Accident.
