When I started working at Euro Accident about 7 years ago, I had no experience in insurance or software testing. I was the only tester in the company and started as a juniour manual tester.
After a few years of working with our core insurance system, it became quite clear that we needed to automate part of our tests to become more efficient and accurate. So that became my new challenge!
Now I am a test automation engineer. I am so grateful for being given the opportunity and support from my manager to learn new things and technologies. Because that is what makes work exciting to me.

During the six years I have been at the company, I have moved through several different areas. I started out as a backend developer, but later moved on to working with frontend and our CMS Sitevision. As we grew, security became a bigger focus, and that opened a new chapter for me: securing our applications with Auth0.
Along the way, I had the privilege of working in a truly international IT team — people from different cultures and countries, all united by the spirit of Euro Accident.

With prior experience in insurance, sales and project management, I began my journey at Euro Accident in sales. During my time in sales I contributed to a project regarding a new insurance system, which would later be named Easy. My journey with EuroAccident started more than 14 years ago when IT was a small deparment of only five people.
Over the years, me and the other system developers were involved with a lot of different projects: integrations with different systems, digitalization of the processes and more.
After gaining many years of experience, I became a system architect. This meant becoming more involved in managing the business requirements for the systems, analysing them and writing technical specification for the other developers.
Through all the growth our department has seen since I started, one thing has stayed the same: the satisfaction of having made something that help our colleagues in their daily work.
