What do I do when an employee urgently needs help?

It is important to act quickly and correctly when an employee experiences an acute crisis or needs immediate help.

When do you need a crisis psychologist?

A crisis psychologist may be relevant when an employee experiences a traumatic event, shock or serious psychological stress. This may be, for example, after an accident, a death or a violent experience at work.

Emergency situations - who should I contact?

If an employee is in urgent need of help, contact should be made to:

  • 112 for life-threatening situations
  • 118 to contact an on-call doctor
  • Personal doctor for a health assessment
  • Acute crisis assistance - if the employee needs acute crisis assistance and has their health insurance with us, they can call +45 88 626 616 Monday to Thursday 9-16 and Friday 9-15.
